Bi-Weekly Update - 11/15/00

eMain Team Meeting and Reports

Bellarmine

The first executive education seminar will conclude on December 2. The participants will have received over 60 hours of classroom instruction from 8 Bellarmine University faculty and nearly 20 experts from business, government and other educational institutions. In addition, each participant will have conducted a thorough analysis of a "real, live" start-up company. These start-ups are companies at the U of L's iTRC. Bellarmine University and the University of Louisville, two major educational institutions in the region, have engaged in constructive collaboration. Plans are underway for development of at least five additional seminars to be delivered during the January-May period of 2001. These seminars will be shorter-about 1-1 1/2 days each. The seminars will continue to be conducted at the Humana Waterside building.

Clock Tower Building

Humana will begin the request for proposal (RFP) process in mid-December. Construction is expected to begin in late-December or early-January. With this schedule, businesses should be able to move in and begin operating in August or September 2001.

Cobalt Ventures

Renovations have begun. New windows are currently being installed.

100 Main Street Block

Bravura expects to begin an 18-month process of renovations to the block by the end of the year.
