Bellarmine University
Bellarmine has elected not to utilize the space at 123 E.
Main but will instead operate out of a lower cost, smaller
footprint in the bCatalyst facility. This means that all
of the remaining space on the main floor of 123 is available
- approximately 8,000 to 10,000 square feet.

Incubators ready to hatch
more businesses
Louisville business incubators are tweaking their game
plans to attract budding companies and entrepreneurs.
With the landscape for emerging companies completely changing,
once traditional incubators - providing office space and
other amenities - are becoming more sophisticated. For
example, the University of Louisville's incubator for
information technology companies estimates that inquiries
for business assistance, business plans and interest in
the university's Shelby Campus incubator have increased
50 percent since fall 2001. As a result, the center and
its new downtown location expect to be at capacity by
summer. In preparation, the Shelby Campus center has begun
renovating the 1,200-square-foot TechCube, a cluster of
cubicles where entrepreneurs can develop business plans,
with computer and phone access plus use of an on-site
