Where is eMain?
The
Ohio River still serves as the northern boundary for the district, which extends
to East Market Street on the south, the 2nd Street bridge on the west and
the I-65 overpass on the east. Beautiful Victorian buildings from the 1800s,
renovated inside to provide contemporary space
for offices and residents, now stand next to brand new buildings, giving eMain
a unique character within the Louisville region.
As part of a lager effort to make downtown Louisville the prime regional destination for a variety of activities, eMain serves as half of the top of the T that also includes the West Main cultural district and soon-to-be developed 4th Street entertainment district.
