The Clock Tower

Community at eMain
The Enterprise Center

Plans to renovate the Clock Tower building, owned by Humana and located at 123 E. Main, was the catalyst for the future transformation of eMain into a thriving commercial and residential neighborhood. Humana, with the help of city and state funding, renovated this former Belknap Hardware warehouse for $5.7 million. This six-story building offers 154,000 square feet of office space located at the heart of eMain, with quick access to Waterfront Park, Louisville Slugger Field, a new city parking garage and other urban amenities.

In January 2003, the Clock Tower's first tenants opened their doors for business: the Community @ eMain and the Enterprise Center.

The Community @ eMain, a collaborative education and training effort among the University of Louisville, Jefferson Community College and Jefferson County Public Schools, offers youth and adult classes and will host special events centered around cutting-edge technology.

The Enterprise Center houses the Enterprise Corporation and the Greater Louisville Small Business Development Center, which offer assistance to entrepreneurs and small business owners.
