eMain is a work in progress. New buildings are going up and old buildings are being rehabilitated from the inside out. In addition to more real estate and parking, eMain now includes service providers to help train and upgrade the technology skills of workers and to help entrepreneurs launch and/or expand their fast-growth business.

As an example, the Clock Tower building, the first project announced as part of the eMain initiative, offers six floors of office space and already has attracted major education providers and economic development groups as tenants.

The Community @ eMain, a collaborative education and training effort among the Jefferson County Public Schools, Jefferson Community College and the University of Louisville, brings students of all ages to the Clock Tower to develop their basic and more advanced information technology skills.
