Parking

Along with ample metered parking throughout the neighborhood, eMain also has a number of parking lots and structures available to the public.

Hourly parking is available at the Witherspoon, Humana, and new city parking garage, all of which offer monthly parking rates for downtown employees. Cobalt Ventures also has a monthly parking lot adjacent to Waterfront Park.

For those catching a Louisville Bats baseball game or meeting for food or drinks at Slugger Field, there is a parking lot just east of Slugger Field. Fans can also park on game day at the Cobalt Ventures lot.

A newly-constructed city parking garage at the corner of First and Main Streets added 647 additional parking spaces when it was opened in December 2002. The garage features a brick and glass exterior that blends into the surrounding architecure and includes a corner clock tower. Retail space on the first floor makes this parking structure more pedestrian friendly and enhances the street-level activity.

Bike Rack - 123 East Main

And getting around downtown on a bicycle is easier to do when you know where to park. eMain is home to one of four bike racks designed by local artists. Bicycles can be secured at a rack designed by artist Bates Fisher-Webster at the northwest corner of Main and Brook Streets.
